Two Adelaide mates - one from hospitality, one a graphic designer - started Prohibition Liquor Co in a back-yard garage in 2015, inspired by the bootleg gin of the 1920s. They opened a Gilbert Street distillery in 2017 around a 900L copper still called Mary, with bottling at Seppeltsfield in the Barossa.  Prohibition source only the finest quality botanicals to create a unique range of hand-crafted spirits.
